                                     2019 FOSS EVENING LEAGUE


Information from the recent AGM:

Management Committee changes– Mike Wellock resigned after 15 years in the hot seat. In recognition of all his hard work he was presented with a glass decanter and given the title of Honary President. Neil Readman takes over as Chairman of the League with Ruth Steels as Secretary.
Bill Preacher [Bolton Percy] is to be the new Treasurer, Adam Mosley [Copmanthorpe] will be the Play Cricket Website Adminstrator and in
charge of Player Registrations. Richard Simpson [Heslington] is the new Press Match Reports Officer/Media Officer replacing Martin Jarred who has stepped down.
With York relected and Wheldrake returning to the League after a 5-year absence, 2019 will see 28 teams in the league spread over 4 divisions.
Divisions 1 and 2 having 8 teams in each, Divisions 3 and 4 having 6 teams in each playing each other 3 times in the season. Subscriptions for 2019 were raised to £30 per team.
Division 1 will be Osbaldwick, Bubwith, Heworth, Woodhouse Grange 1, Yapham, Barmby Moor, Middleton and North Dalton, Aviva Vikings.
Division 2 will be Woodhouse Grange 2, York, Dunnington Colts, Bishop Wilton, Thixendale, Pocklington, Wellington, Westow.
Division 3 will be Heslington, Heworth Colts, Londesborough Park, Stamford Bridge, Bolton Percy, Tang Hall Tigers.
Division 4 will be Stockton & Hopgrove, Copmanthorpe, Aviva Vikings 2, Stillingfleet, Ovington, Wheldrake.
