HPH York Vale Cricket League

Welcome to the HPH York Vale Cricket League website.
The league, founded in 1933, will boast 46 teams playing in five divisions in 2013, and plays a vital role for recreational cricketers in North, East and West Yorkshire.
Sponsored since 1993 by York-based accountants HPH, the league encompasses an area bounded by Malton, Goole, South Cave and Thorp Arch with York at the hub.
Malton firm Scothern Construction also sponsor one of our cup competitions and the Club of the Year award.
This year we have welcomed on board new sponsors of our popular Young Player of the Year award in the shape of cricket equipment suppliers All Rounder, who are based next to the Indoor Cricket Centre at Headingley.
The Press newspaper, which runs a weekly report on Vale games each Thursday during the summer, support the Performance of the Week award.
New for our 80th anniversary season is the Teas of the Year award sponsored jointly by the Insurance Partnership, the Royal York Hotel and Sainsburys.
